2019 Value based healthcare Forum

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 August 2019, NSW Health hosted the first Value based healthcare Forum for NSW. The Forum was an opportunity for healthcare professionals across the state to meet, share and discuss their experiences of value based healthcare (VBHC) and the Leading Better Value Care (LBVC) program.

Day 1 was aimed at consumer representatives, senior executives, senior clinicians and emerging clinical leaders. It explored how we are working together to build a sustainable health system that delivers outcomes that matter to patients, is personalised, invests in wellness and is digitally enabled.

Day 2 was a collaboration and sharing opportunity for clinicians, with a focus on the Leading Better Value Care (LBVC) clinical initiatives. It targeted clinicians, Patient Reported Measures support staff and other key stakeholders involved in the implementation of LBVC.

Thank you to the 400 delegates from local health districts, pillar organisations, Primary Health Networks, consumer groups, medical colleges, private sector and other jurisdictions who attended the forum.
